Metamaterials in medicine
We apply the metamaterials concepts in medical applications ranging from the design of artificial bones to stents and facial implants.
The haptic perceptibility of sawbones
The aim of this study is to compare 3D printed tibia models with different internal structures to increase the haptic feedback of the currently used in-house printed models.

Facial implants
This project is aimed at the design of facial implants with mechanical properties mimicking those of natural bones. Another goal is to reduce the stress shielding phenomenon by decreasing the implant's stiffness.
